A Patchwork Ethnography of Sex Workers' Collectives, Movements and Documentary Film in South India

I am a PhD Candidate of Anthropology and Sociology at SOAS, University of London under the mentorship of Prof(Dr.)Edward Simpson and Prof(Dr.)Fabio Gygi. My research is a patchworked participatory ethnographic project on the intersections of collectivisation, political mobilisation, mutual aid networks and documentary film in the sex workers movement in South India.

To specify my positionality, I am an allied agender trans, asexual friend of the sex workers' movement in India and the UK, where I study and work.

I currently work as a supporter with the National Network of Sex Workers (NNSW), the Sex Work Advocacy and Rights Movement (SWARM, UK) and am a member of the Sex Work Research Hub, UK.
